I spent a very special day with three friends in Eureka Springs in northwest Arkansas last year, and I begin my pictorial with a photo of Keema getting soaked from an afternoon rainstorm! |
Eureka Springs is a very hilly town with many old Victorian buildings, which gives it quite a bit of charm to walk around. |
We stopped at a historic hotel on the main avenue (I forget the name) and we ate lunch on a balcony overlooking the town. Look at my huge plate of nachos! (Uh, I shared that with Kelly, Rhonda and Keema.) |
A friendly dude played the guitar right on the sidewalk. |
We went to a gift shop outside of downtown Eureka Springs and got a shot of all four of us. :) |
We then went to the Jesus Monument on the other side of town that has some very nice views of the hills surrounding Eureka Springs. The Jesus Monument is impressive, and my friend sent me this shot while we conversed with this one local. |
