The Dogwood Festival In Siloam Springs, Arkansas - Pictures From The 2006 Festival
The Dogwood Festival In Siloam Springs, Arkansas (Spring 2006)
The Dogwood trees begin blooming usually sometime in April in NW Arkansas each year. About the same time the Dogwoods have finished blooming, the Dogwood Festival is held each year in Siloam Springs.
The Dogwood Festival is an annual arts and crafts festival that draws vendors from all over the United States. The festival vendors range from arts & crafts to t-shirts 3 for $10.00, and there’s also an over-abundance of food options. The festival gets larger every year; more exhibitors & more attendees.
I grew up in Siloam Springs and have been attending the festivals
for as long as I can remember. In 2005 I entered the festival with my
own business, Beautiful Creation Photography. It was really wonderful
to be a part of the Dogwood Festival since it has been such a highlight of spring times year after year.
The Dogwood Festival in Siloam Springs takes place in the
city parks along Sager Creek.

After a spring rain shower, the crowds begin to return to the festival.
Dogwood Blossoms can be white, pink, or red. White blossoms are the most common and can be seen growing in the wild in many parts of Arkansas. I adore Dogwoods and have devoted an entire section to them on my photography website: Beautiful Creation Photography.
